Our care structure is based on the conviction that care can be best provided when members of the congregation develop close relationships and care for one another. Eph. 4:7-16 lays out a valuable roadmap for the body of Christ where the saints are equipped to do the work of the ministry for the building up of the body of Christ. Vs. 12. With this in mind, we see that the primary care for the body will be through small groups and connect groups where loving and caring relationships will be built.
The government of the church does not exist to control people, but rather to care for them. We allow our groups to function as the leaders see fit for the uniqueness of the leaders and the people attending the various groups. It is our desire to help promote and facilitate connect groups so that “the body…builds itself up in love”. To find out more about small and connect groups, contact Brian and Renae Calva.
